Now you have somewhere to sleep!

Today your bassinet arrived, courtesy of Uncle Roger. The box indicated that it would be easy to assemble so I decided to give it a shot without asking Dad for help putting it together. Success! As I type this you're kicking away deep inside my belly.

You surely have dropped head-down inside me... I don't generally feel you as strongly these days and I was so worried I had Eileen, our Midwife, check you out to make sure you were ok when I went to see her yesterday for my rhogam shot. Your heartbeat was 140 beats per minute and she said your growth looks great! I can't wait til you're sleeping next to me and Dad in your brand new bed.

Two days til your shower and til Dad and I can Thank Uncle Roger in person. And your Uncle Gordon too!

Uncle Gordon bought you a super cool bouncy monkey thing that arrived today as well, but I didn't open it up yet. Dad and I need to figure out where we're going to put all your stuff!

Fortunately your father is a master organizer and seems to have an innate ability to put tons of stuff in a small space without it feeling too full. I have absolute faith that you, me, Dad and all the critters will feel perfectly comfortable in this apartment for a while more.
